Abstract

The article is focused on the study into pragmatic aspects of combinability of colloquial terms of address and relative adjectives «old», «little» in the informal English discourse. The aim of the research is to investigate the relationship between the semantic properties of the relative adjectives «old», «little» and those of various classes of American terms of address.
