Немецкий язык в культурологическом аспекте: новые тенденции

Abstract


This article focuses on several aspects of the post-war tendencies in the development of German and their possible ethnolinguistic explanations (e.g., increasingly active usage of onomatopoeia, reflexive verbs, possessive pronouns, passive voice, auxiliary verbs, abbreviations). Special attention is paid to the factors which are normally explained by the ethnolinguists as expression of Anglo-Saxon pragmatism, individualism, activism, economy, masculinity etc. (reflected in the English language which now influences German) and which could be also attributed to the typological traits of analytic languages.
